The Penthouse has probably the most spectacular views that the city has to offer –

and it will work wonders for your social media pages.

Welcome to the top of the world. Kind of.

Set on the roof of FIVE Palm Jumeirah Dubai, stepping out onto this terrace will stop

you in your tracks and momentarily take your breath away.

It’s only 16 floors up, but with an absence of skyscrapers and nothing looming overhead,

it’s without doubt one of the best outdoor vantages in town. And the day-to-night spot

only gets better as the sun sinks down and neighbouring Dubai Marina is lit up in all

its glory.

It’s split into two sections: the City View Lounge Terrace, which hosts the day club

and pools, all looking out to the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah and beyond; and the Marina View

Bar Terrace, where you’ll be able to feast your eyes on Ain Dubai and Bluewaters Island, as

well as the Marina. It’s fancy, but doesn’t take your eyes out and ladies who visit on a Tuesday between

6pm and 9.30pm will be given three free drinks at one of the city’s swishest ladies’ nights.

Make sure you order a few nibbles off the menu – the flatbreads and mini, crackerlike

tuna pizzas are off the charts.
